Akas Alp Apartments
The highly recommended Akas Alp Apartments are situated in the traditional, unspoilt Lappish community of Akaslompolo, in a scenic and peaceful wooded location. These apartments, owned and managed by the adjacent and friendly Akas Hotel (100m away), provide excellent quality self-catering accommodation.
Miles of cross-country ski trails begin right outside the apartments. Guests can also easily access the hotel's popular bar, dance floor, restaurant and nightclub, which form the hub of local entertainment. The ski bus (free for hotel and apartment guests) departs from the hotel, and the village centre, with its well-stocked supermarket, restaurants and bars, is a 5-minute walk away (500m).Yllas is known for its excellent skiing and beautiful natural surroundings. Akaslompolo, one of the villages at the foot of Yllas, offers a more traditional and tranquil alternative to some of the larger Finnish resorts.
