The Paradiski area comprises a large modern ski area nestled high in the French Alps. The fabulous purpose built multi-levelled resorts of Les Arcs and La Plagne, plus their smaller neighbours, link together to offer 425km of exciting endless pistes with over 238 slopes, 4 snowparks and 2 half pipes.Skiing is possible up to an altitude of 3250m, ensuring good snow conditions throughout the season. Equally some of the more charming interesting pistes run through the snow spangled trees, down at the lower levels of resorts like Montalbert and Villaroger giving you a fabulous range of skiing whether up in the lunar landscapes or down in the wooded areas.
The whole ski area attracts all levels of ability with fantastic convenient ski-in ski-out opportunities from many of the properties. Despite being purpose built, the Paradiski plays host to many traditional Savoyard looking properties, offering all of the most modern comforts.

The ski centres in the Paradiski area are virtually all self -contained with a superb array of shops, bars and restaurants in each centre. The ski schools are positioned within easy reach of the slopes, making your stay as convenient as possible. Each village is well connected by road and by piste.
Les Arcs is made up of a number of villages. 4 purpose built resorts and 1 traditional village of Peisey Vallandry. Arc 1600 was the original village built for convenient skiing with the ability to ski from the doorstep. The resorts are roughly named after the altitude at which they are situated, grouping together to form 200km of local slopes and linked by efficient lift systems. The resort offers something for everyone, but is renowned as a family friendly resort due to the range of activities Les Arcs and also La Plagne has to offer.
Spread over 225km and home to Europe's longest bordercorss, La Plagne consists of 11 separate villages. There are 7 purpose built resorts including the main hubs of Belle Plagne and Plagne Centre and 4 lower traditional villages including Montchavin and Les Coches. It is best suited to intermediates and families and for those looking for extensive terrain.

Skiing in Paradiski
With 70% of the ski domain over 2000m in altitude, Paradiski is the perfect destination for snowsure resorts, especially the resorts of Arc 2000, Arc 1950 and Aime La Plagne at 2100.
The link between La Plagne and Les Arcs is by the 200 person double decker cable car, the Vanoise Express, accessible from the edge of Les Arcs (Plan Peisey) to the edge of La Plagne area, just about 300m above Montchavin. For advanced skiers, it means they can stay in either resort without worrying about how long it will take to get across. Advanced skiers will also love the off-piste skiing possibilities as well as Europe's longest run at 7km, the Aiguille Rouge which goes all the way down into Villaroger. Walkers as well as skiers can also view the peak's panoramic views at 3226m from the new Aiguille Rouge panoramic footbridge. Intermediates will also love exploring the area with a large number of wide, long runs to cruise down. For beginners, there are purpose built beginner areas and reputable ski schools available to ensure you get the most out of your ski holiday.
