New Norwegian gondola to add to Nordic ski experience
Running from next to the Eventyr children’s area to just north of the T10 Hesten station, the resort’s operators, SkiStar, promise “less waiting time and more time for skiing”.
Trysil is home to 81km of pistes, with 31 lifts and 69 slopes, including runs for skiers of all abilities.

Italian charm in imminent new gondola
Alta Badia’s new 10-seater La Crusc gondola will have heated seats - all change from the previous 4-seater chairlift which had been in place since 1995.
The gondola will have a similar run time and capacity - comfort and inclusivity for less able-bodied people are the main motivators for the project.
It will also incorporate a new mid-way station, which allows for skiers to access the Nagler and Le Refuges areas.

6 Austrian ski resorts added to worldwide lift pass offer
The Epic Pass allows skiers to pay for access to loads of resorts over the course of a season, meaning you don’t have to buy separate lift passes each time you ski - and usually at much cheaper prices.
North American resorts form the majority of the Epic Pass’s network, although you can get various forms of it to suit your needs.
The Austrian ski areas added to the pass are: Silvretta (Ischgl), Sölden, Saalbach-Zell am See-Kaprun and Mayrhofen & Hintertux. There’s also expanded access to the Verbier 4 Vallées ski area.
Our sales team can explain this to you in more detail and help you book, if you need.

Work continues on fresh La Plagne gondola
The 10-seater will replace the former 6-seater Roche de Mio gondola (and will retain the same name), but will instead run on a completely different route.
There will also be a mid-way station, too, with passengers allowed off and on at the Col de Forcle, before whizzing up to the same top area at Roche de Mio.
The lift will carry up to 3,000 people per hour - previously only 1,440 could fit on. The transit time from top to bottom will decrease by a minute, but this is due to the mid-station diversion.
