Bulgarian Ski Resorts
The main Bulgarian ski resorts are Borovets, Bansko and Pamporovo. Bansko being a recent addition to the programme of UK tour operators. Bulgarian resorts are ideal for beginners, as they offer great value ski hire, lift passes and lessons. There are English-speaking ski schools that cater very well for first time skiers and snowboarders. The ski areas are adequate for those with some experience and are excellent for beginners, all with beautiful scenic views. Advanced intermediates and advanced skiers may find the range of skiing limiting.
Accommodation in Bulgaria
The resorts in Bulgaria combine fantastic modern ski facilities with a traditional charm throughout the villages. The accommodation is of a very good standard yet is still very affordable. Bansko has a number of 4 star hotels and two 5 star hotels with superb facilties. Borovets has a number of 3 and 4 star hotels, plus a couple of catered chalets and apartments. Pamporovo has a selection a number of 3, 4 and 5 star hotels and some apartments to chose from.

If you are new to the idea of skiing, Bulgaria is an excellent choice of destination as it will not break the bank! All three of our resorts offer excellent bars and restaurants for you to unwind in at the end of a hard day on the piste. For those that want to brush up more on their dance technique than their bumps technique there are also plenty of opportunities long into the night!
