Hotel Harfenwirt, Niederau/Oberau, Austria

Although it was close to the end of the season there was still plenty of snow in the resort and the runs and pistes were well groomed. The hotel staff as always were very keen to see that all our needs were catered for, the food was plentiful and tasteful. The rooms were well maintained and clean, no complaints. Brilliant last minute holiday thanks to Herbert. Apre ski a bit sparse as a lot of places had closed for the season but what was open gave good service.

small but excellent resort. Snow conditions excellent with pistes well maintained and easy bus service to other nearby resorts. Hotel Harfenwirt was good 3* + standard. Rooms comfortable. Herbert the owner placed guests in the dining room to encourage conversation during meals. we were with two other couples of similar age and expectations and this added to the holiday. Claire our rep was very good, always available to contact and often to be seen in the resort both on and off piste and always ready to advise where to go, what to do etc An exceptional service and resort all round
