Hotel Lohmann, Obergurgl, Austria

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Obergurgl. Hotel Lohmann is very conveniently located. Our junior suite was very spacious, with a separate storage room opposite our room, perfect for storing cases, ski and boot bags and dirty clothes. Food was OK - breakfast and dinner both buffet style with plenty of choice, which suited our party of big eaters. The unlimited beer, wine and soft drinks were an added bonus. The only disappointing feature is the lounge and bar area where afternoon coffee and cakes are served. The area is very small with insufficient seating. This area is also the wi-fi hotspot so a popular place. Après ski at the Nedderhutte was excellent - best we've experienced in many years of ski holidays - though the ski back down to Obergurgl was a challenge! The hotel was good value, we would definitely go back though not with Inghams -after being dropped off we didn't see any reps for the whole week, their incompetence was topped off by providing a bus too small to transport all clients back to the airport!
