Hotel Madeleine
Nestled into the mountainside in the heart of Obergurgl, the Hotel Madeleine offers a warm, boutique feel, with easy access to the village and its surrounding slopes. Owned and run by the Gstrein family, the hotel has recently been thoughtfully renovated, giving the interior a contemporary and light atmosphere. The unique architecture blends with the alpine landscape, providing serene mountain views from many of the newly refurbished rooms.
Inside, discover stylish and comfortable spaces, including a wellness area with a panoramic view of the mountains. The walls are decorated with original artworks by Frau Gstrein, adding a personal touch to the hotel's modern design. In the evenings, you can look forward to a mix of regional Tyrolean specialties and international cuisine, perfectly paired with a curated selection of Austrian wines.

Twin room (approx. 25m²) - sleeps 1-2: Austrian twin beds, private shower and WC.
Twin room (approx. 27m²) - sleeps 2: Austrian twin beds, private bath, WC and balcony.
Twin room (approx. 30m²) - sleeps 2-4 (max 3 adults or 3 adults and 1 child aged up to 12 years): Austrian twin beds, extra double sofa bed when booked for three or four, private bath, WC and balcony.
Suite (approx. 46m²) - sleeps 2-4 (max 3 adults or 3 adults and 1 child aged up to 12 years): Bedroom with Austrian twin beds, separate lounge with extra double sofa bed when booked for three or four, private bath, WC and balcony.
Austrian twin beds: One large bed frame containing two single mattresses, each with their own bedding.

Please note: There's no evening meal on Tuesdays most weeks of the year but some snacks will be available until 7.30pm. The standard menu is served 7 nights a week on the following weeks for winter 2025/26: 20 December 2025 - 3 January 2026, 14 February - 28 February 2026 and 28 March - 11 April 2026.
Many Austrian hotels do not serve free tap water with meals. Bottled water will be available.
