As one of the five chalets in Le Village, Chalet La Chapelle benefits from an enviable location in the wonderful resort of Alpe d'Huez. The chalet looks out over an attractive cobbled courtyard on one side and the Rond Point des pistes the other, with two pistes on either side of the chalet, it's the dream ski in ski out location. The town centre is a pleasant 10 minutes' walk away, where you'll find a vibrant resort, with plenty of great bars, restaurants and shopping, plus an outdoor ice rink and swimming pool. If you don't fancy the walk into town, then take the aerial route as the nearby caged gondola lift can transport you to different parts of the resort.
Entrance to the chalet is on the ground floor, with a spacious ski and boot room upon entering, providing a lovely space to keep all your equipment safe, warm and dry. There is a downstairs WC just next to the staircase as well as an indoor spa area, complete with sauna and Jacuzzi? what better way to unwind after a tiring day on the ski slopes!
The kitchen sits next to the open plan living and dining space which has a beautiful stone fireplace as the focal point of the room. The fire is surrounded by a lovely corner sofa area, providing a lovely space in which to relax in front of the flat screen television, or enjoy a game of cards with friends and family. The dining room is spacious, with a lovely solid wooden dining table with ample sating for all guests to fit around.
