Hotel Les Bergers, Alpe d'Huez, France

Hotel food was great! Rooms were small - too small - but just about OK. Bath - if you are under 5ft or go into a fetal shape you can manage - no-one else! Spa was a pain - you need to pre-book, take or buy flip flops, could not charge treatments to your room - altho their paperwork states you can. Great location tho and very friendly staff! Worth the trip and one of the best we have visited in decades of skiing!

Rooms were small and basic but were OK although the baths are too small full adults to use. Hairdryers only available from reception on request. The food was OK most evenings although we did have one night where some dishes were cold. Good buffet selection at breakfasts One disappointment is that there is no separate bar area suitable for adults, whilst we were there the bar in the evening was open from 16.00 but was mainly used for kids entertainment leaving nowhere for a group of adults to sit in the evening, the bar also closed at 22.00 as soon as the entertainment had ended. Sauna was nice but the hot tubs were too cold (approx. 33 degrees). Great location for the slopes and ski school, only a couple of mins walk to three lifts.
