Hotel Room Options
Rooms in the Folie Douce Hotel are split between 3* 'Access' rooms and 4* 'Premium' rooms, these are not official classifications. Most room types have mountain views and access to the spa facilities are included.
Access rooms are compact and simply furnished. All rooms have shower, WC, bed linen, hairdryer, Wi-Fi and cable / satellite TV with English speaking channels.
Twin rooms are 18m² and sleep up to two adults. Twin or double bed (please specify preference when booking)
Quad rooms are also 18m² and sleep three to four people. These rooms are in a 'Dormitory' style with three bunk beds and a pull out sofa bed. Suitable for a group of friends
Premium rooms have additional luxuries including a telephone, flat screen cable / satellite TV with English speaking channels, safe, tea & coffee making facilities, towels, bath robes, toiletries, mini bar and hairdryer. These rooms are brighter and have a higher standard of furnishings and design.
Twin rooms are 20m² and sleep up to two adults in a twin or double bed (please specify preference when booking)
Superior twin rooms are a more spacious 26m² and sleep two to three people, with a twin or double bed and a convertible single sofa bed
Family rooms are 28-35m² and sleep three to four people. There is a twin or double bed (please specify when booking) and bunk beds (suitable for children up to 11 years). These rooms are available on request
Interconnecting rooms are available between Access Twin and Quad rooms for a group of six (on request).
Beds are made on arrival (except sofa beds) and daily house keeping is included.
Resort tax per person, per day applicable (under 18s free of charge) and paid locally.
Hotel Catering
This hotel is on a bed & breakfast basis, with the continental buffet having additional hot options. The hotel has three restaurants to dine in, 'La Petite Cuisine', 'La Fruitiere' is a chic French bistro gourmet restaurant, 'Le Mayen' serving a la carte Savoyard specialities, as well as 'La Piazza' which is a takeaway pizza kiosk.
Half board basis is also available, at a supplement. Dinner will be taken in La Petite Cuisine for a three course dinner, apart from Sundays which will be in La Fruitiere and Wednesdays in Le Mayen. The two special dinners will be two courses and are included in the half board supplement. Dinner is served from 7pm.
