Hotel Olympic, Courchevel 1850, France

It's got a truly great location with the main shopping area area and the lifts within 200m and it doesn't require you to take out a mortgage to stay there. The rooms are a great size and well furnished, as is the bar area, though some of the corridors are a little dated. I really enjoyed the styling of the rooms and the disco showers were awesome after a day on the slopes. The bar is quirky, like the rooms, and doubles up for breakfast in the morning. It's also reasonably priced compared to a lot of the bars in the resort! There's ton of potential here and I wouldn't be surprised to see it become more known as it develops. If you're set on Courchevel but worried about the cost you should seriously consider this hotel.

We stayed here for a couple of nights and it's definitely a 3 star hotel in my opinion. Very modern and comfortable rooms, top location in the centre of town and a couple of minutes walk to the lifts. The bar seemed to have the cheapest pint in Courchevel so you don't have to spend an arm and a leg to enjoy a few drinks!
