Chalet Le Dome, Tignes Les Boisses, France

Apart from the cramped rooms, this was an excellent chalet hotel. The staff were all excellent and very friendly and helpful. The food was far far better than we would have expected with the only minor complaint being the temperature of the red wine which was always too cold. The location was very good too.

At this time there was great skiing in Tignes Val Claret and over in Val D'Isere. Tignes Les Boisses did not have enough snow to ski to the Chalet Hotel Le Dome. But there is a local bus service every 30minutes. An early morning shuttle was put on all week. So well done. Chalet Hotel Le Dome was great. The food was to die for. The other guests were good company, All the staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Our room #2 and the ensuite bathroom were exceptionally small with virtually no storage. Wanted to ski La Sache run home but couldn't due to lack of snow. All in all it was a great break before Christmas and a great start to the ski season 2014-2015.
