Hotel Valverde, Gressoney, Italy

We stayed here in December 2018 and loved it. The hotel is old-ish but everything you would expect from the Italian ALPS. Rooms are functional and spacious - we had an interconnecting room which worked well. Kids club and staff were great - food was good. Couldn't be in a better location as you can ski back to and the chair lift is outside of the hotel. Sprite kids are taken up to the bottom of the gondola for lessons and beginners are use the small area close to the chalet hotel - which is perfect. The skiing was great uncrowded slopes and really nice places to eat. There isnt much in the way of Apres ski, the village is sleepy with not much going on.
