SkiStar Lodge Trysil - Trysil, Norway
Sleek, modern Scandi design.
Warm up from the slopes in the heated pools.
Sink into a seat by the fire with something toasty to drink.
This should be a hotel to remember. SkiStar Lodge Trysil is the epitome of modern – looking super smart and ultra-stylish. The beautiful Scandi design really stands out here, which might be a bit of a shift if you’re used to a traditional alpine vibe. Rest assured though, Norway does post-ski cosiness just as well and SkiStar makes for a very comfortable base to come back to each evening.
As well as some handsome rooms, you’ll also have some rather swish facilities waiting for you. If you don't mind paying a bit extra, there are indoor and outdoor pools for swimming, a sauna for steaming and even a fitness room if you’d like to keep up your routine. The bar is another one not to be missed – it’s just right for ending the evening in style. It’s a stunning space, with plenty of comfy chairs to curl up in. The fireplace and naked light fixtures bathe the room in a warm glow that’s just right for cosy ski stories and winding down before bed.
