Chalet Hotel Les Cimes was a firm favourite with our guests during its first winter season receiving rave reviews. Offering high altitude skiing and sunny slopes, Alpe d’Huez is a popular resort for keen skiers.
Les Cimes is a comfortable hotel and all bedrooms have been recently refurbished. It has a sunny, south-facing position, close to the ski lifts and with fantastic views of the surrounding mountains especially from the sun terrace and the balconies.
The hotel’s attractive dining room also has lovely views of the Oisans valley and a convivial atmosphere, perfect for enjoying our choice of menus and of course the complimentary wines. There is also a bar and cosy lounge with fireplace and it is here where pre-dinner canapés and apéritifs are served. You can also relax here after dinner with coffee and maybe a nightcap.
The centre of the resort is just 5 minutes’ walk away including a selection of après-ski bars and restaurants. You will also find here the resort indoor/outdoor swimming pool and ice rink, entry to which is included with the lift pass.
The bedrooms all have en suite facilities and many have a south-facing balcony. They are all well equipped and all have flat screen TV, safe and hairdryer.
The nearest ski lift is the Grand Sure chairlift which goes direct to the Signal and this is just a minute’s walk away. You can also ski back to this point at the end of the day.

- Daily buffet continental breakfasts with hot options provided by staff for 6 days

Vegetarian options are always available to choose from our menus, and other special diets can be catered for at a supplement, if booked with us in advance.
One evening each week your Chalet Hotel staff have the evening off, enabling you to choose from one of the local restaurants for that evening’s dinner, which our Resort Representative will be delighted to help you book.
Children of all ages are welcome in all our Chalet Hotels on all dates. We serve a separate High Tea at 5:30pm for children aged 11 years and under with an appropriate menu. However, parents may elect for their children (11 years and under) to eat with them at the adult meal times on payment of a £39 per child per week supplement.

Chalet Hotel Les Cimes Reviews
Had a fantastic time in Hotel Les Cimes last week. The staff are friendly and always have a smile on their face. Food was great every night and the bar always had plenty of cold beer on tap! Room was clean and the view was amazing (we were at the front of the hotel) We could have done with a bit more snow but even so managed to find good snow each day.

Had a great week with the family in Alpe D'Huez. Perfect for kids to learn to ski as well as adults to ski the higher slopes. Iglu helped booked ski lessons, and ski hire everything went smoothly. Slight delay on the flights coming out to Chambery which meant we got in later than expected but it was soon forgotten the next day when we were out on the slopes. Chalet Les Cimes offers 'relatively' good value, given its half term in the french alps, accommodation standards are ok as long as expectations aren't too high. Walls are a bit thin meant it can be a bit noisy at night, but it was made up for with the superb food and staff service.
