Alpenhotel Tirol Reviews

Stayed at Alpenhotel Tiro Easter 2011. Thoroughly enjoyed the holiday. 2 blokes 50+ and teenage daughters 18+. Excelent Hotel great food and attentive staff, beautiful location. What more could you want. Not a Ski in Ski out resort but Galtur good for a couple of days intermediate skiing. Ishgl 20 mins (freeski bus ride down the road) is an intermediates play ground with trips over to "duty free" Switzerland. A little confusing at first, but must be one of the best ski areas in the Alps. Apres Ski in Galtur is OK bit low key in Galtur but a little more boisterous in Ishgl. Kappl (part of the ski area pass is well worth a days visit. Thoroughly reccommend Alpenhotel Tirol - great Hotel & Food. Plese check out beautiful church and local history. Avalache of 1999 and menories of those that perished reminds me of the 1966 Aberfan disaster
