Chalet La Rocheure Reviews

Stayed here with a group and loved it, the food was great and the late season skiing was superb. A short walk down the hill into town but the benefit is that you're not close to the bars and clubs when they kick out at closing time.

I love this chalet and it is the second time we have stayed here, however, this time around we had a family of five in our chalet. I don't hate children, but for personal reasons we don't holiday with them. Also, the wifi was not working and didn't get sorted until later in the week after much chasing. The chalet hosts this season however, (Mikey and Joe) are awesome and excellent chefs. I would stay here again, but check whether there is a family also staying (which may or may not be possible to find out in advance).

Visited this resort last season and was more than impressed. Arcs 1800 is often seen as the ugly man made cousin of the 3 Valleys, but this is certainly not the case. The Paradiski area was wonderful, full of varied interesting runs. I couldn't ski the whole area in two weeks of trying!! The apres was on the rowdy side, loved it. So if your a big groups looking for a mix of great skiing and boozy evenings then this resort is right up your street!

Fantastic chalet, really good operator. The food was amazing and the chalet hosts were really friendly and made us feel at home right away. Excellent value for money too!!

I stayed in this chalet in Dec 2009, when this accommodation had only been open a few weeks. It is an incredible place to stay - all the rooms were large, the beds were really comfy, & the bathrooms spotless - a real credit to the chalet staff. The main living area is beautifully designed - everyone in my party had a look of amazement the minute they walked in. The location for skiing was fantastic, & the chalet enjoyed lovely views of the surrounding pistes, we were really spoiled, and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when we return to Val d'Isere. Thanks for a wonderful holiday!
