Good value short break, wonderful chalet hostess - 16/04/2019
Overall

Nice chalet, rooms a bit small but not a problem. Food was great and chalet maid was friendly and very helpful. She baked us a lovely cake each day, left overs were wrapped in foil for the next day for piste picnic! Very welcome. I thoroughly enjoyed this break.

Great for a short break, but Chalet away from the action and very small rooms - 18/02/2019
Overall

Flaine has many wide open blues and reds with a good lift system with little queuing -except long wait (1 hour) to get back from Sixt after the Cascades route (long with lots of walking sections but worth doing once). The button lifts to the right of the resort take you to wide open unexplored areas but take off with a huge jolt so beware.. Coffee 4.50 Euros meals about 14 Euros on the slopes. Chalet Marmotte a tight fit for 8 with 3 very small rooms and one larger one. Can ski to and from with about 150 metre walk and ski bus a similar distance. Main resort 2 km away if eating out but 2 restaurants close buy Pizza about 14 Euro full meals about 30 Euros in those 2

A long weekend in Flaine - 31/01/2019
Overall

4 days staying in Chalet Marmotte in L'Hameau de Flaine. Antonella was an A* chalet host. I love the skiing in Flaine - easy runs and plenty of opportunity for a bit of off-piste in the new snow. Flights, transfers all went very well. Chalet Marmotte was comfortable, warm and well situated.
