Club Med Meribel (Le Chalet) Reviews

It was a fantastic holiday and everything was great. The food was delicious and so was the service. I am a coeliac and they dealt with my allergy very well and they even produced some delicious gluten free bread. Luckily the weather was good but there was not much snow. The rooms were great with a great view. The only slight disappointment was the ski hire but Fred was still very nice. The variety of the cocktails at the bar was great and I thought they all tasted lovely. I must give a special mention to Aurille and Patrice because his food was outstanding and Aurille was a great waiter. I loved the holiday.

It was such a fantastic skiing holiday again. At the beginning there was a small problem with my brother, Tom's allergy but all of the kitchen staff managed to sort everything out extremely quickly. For the rest of the week, the food was absolutely superb and I particularly liked the seafood that was served one night. I would like to give special thanks to head chef, Patrice, for some fantastic food. As well as this, the waiters and waitresses, especially Florian and Aurelie, looked after to us very well. The outdoor terrace provided a perfect setting for relaxing and eating lunch. The swimming pool was also brilliant and it was used a lot after skiing for a refreshing break. I would thoroughly like to return to this hotel next year. Thank you

This is is a fantastic mix of luxury, zero hastle, and chique. With flights and transfers included we just sat back and relaxed. The staff at Le Chalet were particularly friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice (though not as nice as Antares) with great views of the mountain. Recommend getting a deluxe room if you can. The public areas are excellent and have really typical mountain chalet feel. The restaurant is decent (food good but not amazing - much better when a la carte rather than buffet they provide). You can eat at all the other Club Meds and would advise both Antares and Aspen Park where choice is bigger. Swimming pool is very small but nice to have. Jacuzzi would be great if it were hot enough. Ski shop in the building is very useful but recommend booking ahead and buying anything like goggles down in the village. Ski pass given to you when you check in. Ski School layed on which was really great! Thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend to anyone!

We booked Le Chalet for our honeymoon. We had a private taxi from the airport to the hotel, then were greeted very warmly by all of the staff waiting for our arrival! The hotel itself is mostly wood with a lovely alpine feel. They have a nice log fire in the lounge and the Bar is open all day. The room was nice, but the extra we paid for the Mount Saulire view was not worth it. The food was great, buffet style help yourself for most of the week. We had many interesting well prepared dishes both from the region and outside. You could not fail to like at least one thing they had available. Pool is small but nice. They even have a spa / salon if you wish to look your best one the slopes. Highly recommended even if a little steep in price.
