Better than your average chalet holiday and a fantastic location - 22/08/2016
Overall

My family have stayed at Chalet Hotel Aiguille Percee for several years and I was able to join them last season. The property is one of the nicest Chalets I have ever stayed at thanks to its recent refurbishment and now boasts a beautiful indoor pool and spa area and modern fittings in the en-suite bedrooms. The location is exceptional for Tignes, with the main lifts just a minute walk from the chalet so you can easily be one of the first on the mountain in the morning. The chalet also has a large bar area and a games room so there is plenty of space for all guests in the chalet. My favourite bar in Tignes, Loop bar, is located just a few mins away where you pop in for a drink at apres for happy hour or you can easily catch a live band in the evening after dinner. Underground Bar and Jack’s Club is close by if want a late night out!

The hotel was lovely, wood labelled traditional looking. Very comfortable and clean. Rooms were cleaned regularly. Staff very friendly and helpful, nothing seemed to much trouble. My only complaint was bar area very small, and quite pricey, although had good selection of drinks. Slopes and terrain excellent for beginner/ intermediate especially, lots of choice of slopes and views of the glacier are breathtaking. Mostly chair lifts which are good if you don't like drag lifts. Took a good walk /run round the lake in Tigne le Lac also, very picturesque. Après limited as it was last week of season but the bars that were open were good fun.

This was our first Mark Warner holiday, and as soon as we arrived in resort we were not disappointed, after a smooth transfer we were warmly greeted and bags taken to our rooms. We soon realised there were a lot of staff in the hotel all happy to help. I had requested special meals due to allergies and the chef did an amazing job of creating different options. Afternoon tea was a feast, followed a few hours later by three course evening meal and as much wine as your liked. The hotel was centrally located with its own boot and ski room. Family facilities looked impressive. Would definitely recommend.

This is a nice chalet hotel, in a great location. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, like all the staff. Great childcare facilities and staff. It is a perfect family choice. Close to the lifts and all amenities.
