Couldn’t fault anything about this holiday other than surprisingly it was a little to warm.Apartments(manzano) good size very clean, very helpful & friendly staff and a great location for the pistes and all that the resort has to offer. Returning is very likely.

Basic but satisfactory - 27/03/2012
Overall

Our apartment was basic but at the end of the day it was somewhere to put your head down after a great day skiing then having a few beers in the many restaurants & bars. We cooked breakfast but ate out for the rest. The ski hire is in the basement & there are lockers but we chose to hire some lockers next to the slope so as not to have to carry them up & down after a tiring day. Can imagine it gets quite busy & loud but we seemed to have picked a quieter week, but it was still lively & had many a late night! It snowed for 2days & nights & was informed that this was the most snow they had for 5years!! There are plenty of runs & you can ski all day without skiing the same slope, caters for all abilities. As for the apartments, maybe not for young families. All in all, great holiday, needed to come home for a rest!

Overall

Great self-catering apartments, quite basic but all you need for a super skiing holiday. At the end of the day we managed to ski off the slopes right to the door so it’s in a very good position to slopes. The ski hire shop in the basement makes it simple to get and return your skis, (I wish I knew about this!). The only real dislike I had was the fact that it was one of the highest apartments in Pas de la casa, which meant it was about a 2 minute walk to the closets bars and shops. But it’s quite a lively place, all the activities seemed to take place or start in the Manzano. It has great storage facilities for your skis and boots right beside the bar just inside the hotel doors with comfy sofas to sit while you remove your boots. The barman's a great laugh! I'd say the Manzano is better suited towards groups rather than families. I can’t wait to return next year.
