Chamonix Reviews

I stayed in Chamonix for a few days as part of a short ski trip. It was ideal with the short 1hr transfer from Geneva airport. It's a beautiful, traditional French town and one of my favourites in the Alps. The skiing is world class but is split up in to different areas. It's not a ski in/out sort of resort so you will need to take buses to get around to the different ski areas. The local lift pass is fine for most but those wishing to explore further afield can access almost endless ski areas with the Mont Blanc lift pass. The Grand Montets had some excellent red/black runs for those looking for steep terrain. I would love to go back and tackle some of the famous off piste skiing at the Vallée Blanche.

We stayed at Le Vert, Chamonix for a 4 day Ski trip arranged by Iglu Ski. A very easy, well organised trip by Iglu. I would definitely book with them again.

My 9 year old son and I were really happy with how Iglu Ski handled our booking and provided for a stress free late season short ski break. Great value. The hotel was good but the rooms were poorly illuminated.

The most exciting Vallée in the world. So much great skiing and adventure. Most people neglect the ski areas of Brevent and Flegere right in town and go to the ski mecca of Grand Montets up the road in Argentiere but they are missing some of the best stuff. This is one ski area you will never be bored in. Authentic, exciting, lively, and best of all, challenging !
