Hidden Gem - 01/09/2019
Overall

Stayed at le Anemones hotel. A secret gem in the heart of Courchevel 1850. Fantastic access to skiing the 3 Valleys. Great snow, great hotel hosts and a fabulous weeks skiing. The resort has slopes catering for all ski levels and big enough to mean queues for lifts were never onerous. Planning a return this year without fail.

Favourite spot in the 3 Valleys - 21/05/2019
Overall

Spent a few seasons here and feel it is the perfect 3V location. Situated at 1850m and it has great mix of North and South facing slopes. The resort has an excellent snow record and has all the latest with regard to snow making and piste preparation. Most accommodation is ski in ski out meaning no trekking about before or after skiing. Favourite runs, Try M early morning after grooming or fresh snow. Jockeys down to Le Praz is great after fresh snow and the Couloirs off La Saulire are fantastic. Great Mountain restaurants, try the one next to the altiport and watch planes take off and land while you eat. Les Saint Peres and Caves de Courchevel are the best late night spots.

Lots to do! - 20/05/2019
Overall

Courchevel is a very good resort for families as there are lots of activities to keep the whole family entertained for the week as well as skiing. You have europes largest alpine waterpark (aquamotion) between courchevel village and 1650. There is also a 3km long sledging track which even has evening sessions! Courchevel is a great stop for exploring the 3 valleys and you can get over to Meribel in a couple of lift rides. It can be expensive to eat out here so always best to fill yourself up at breakfast!

Great skiing conditions - 25/03/2019
Overall

17th to 24th March 2019. Stayed at Cascades ,1650. Just across the road from the lifts. The chalet has lifts to all floors and the staff try really hard to make sure you have a good stay. Perhaps the only negative issue is the two nights you have to cater for yourself. It doesn't help the budget. Sunshine all week and apart from afternoon slushiness and worn pistes in some areas, skiing couldn't have been better especially in 1850 and 1650. Daytime temps were between +4 and+15 so my the end of the week some areas were wearing thin. 1650 is a little lower than in 1850 and smaller. If you want to pay up to €25 for a burger and all the blitz then go to 1850 otherwise try 1650.

Great holiday in 1650 - 21/03/2019
Overall

Courchevel is a lovely resort, a traditional wooden alpine village at various levels. We stayed in Chalet Cascades, which is a chalet hotel with about 60 guests. We liked the communal tables with great food. The skiing was excellent with plenty of blues and reds. My only minor complaint was that there was not a huge variety of restaurants or bars in 1650. This was fine for us but may not suit younger skiers.
