Excellent hotel, great location and lovely food.

If good skiing, cheap drinks and a few bars in the evening are your thing, then Soldeu/El Tarter would be perfect for you. There's a tonne of pistes to explore, some great off pistes and the lifts are all modern. For a ski area of this size, it's hard to compete in terms of value for money.

This resort simply has it all! Great slopes (and lots of them), fabulous food, brilliant nightlife and a friendly vibe. Value for money through and through, it's a great deal cheaper than the Alps and just as much fun.

Left 23rd March to stay in Soldeu, better conditions in morning, slush in afternoon, Grau Roig and Paz de la casa resorts a fun traverse over the mountain and good conditions most of the day. Lovely place to stay, great runs, cheap food and drink. Couldn't ask for more. Very quiet this time of year too so worth the gamble of going late, no queuing for lifts or snarling up on any of the slopes.

The Hotel Soldeu Maistre, great helpful staff, plenty of good food, and close to a great skiing area. We go as The Last Of The Summer Wine Skiers, Soldeu offers a free lift pass for the over 70s, what a saving! It is made easier with the help from the team @ Iglu Ski
