Soldeu Reviews

Soldeu has great access to the slopes via its gondola and chairlift. The ski area is big and varied, though smaller than the big French resorts. There has been a lack of snow in the Pyrenees this winter, but the piste management has been excellent and almost all runs (inc. down to the villages) were open w/c 4-Mar. Soldeu has a fair selection of bars and cafes, but not much to do on bad weather days.

Soldeu and the rest of the Grandvalira is a fantastic ski area with lots of varied runs. I was pleasantly surprised with my week-long holiday here and the variety on offer. I particularly enjoyed the El Tarter ski area and mountain bars. There is even good apres and very lively nightlife. Straight from the slopesI would recommend going to the Irish bar in Soldeu for apres and then Fat Alberts for a late night out!
