Fantastic place and company - 02/04/2019
Overall

Tignes le lac was lovely. You can walk around the entire place easily. Travelling between the other area can be done on bus (not quite as easily as the make out so check time tables!) ski was great unfortunately not much fresh snow so can’t comment on off piste however on piste was great and not too busy (end of March). Our chalet had a great view out over the lake and generally great. Booking through Iglu Ski was a breeze and they are very helpful before and throughout the stay

Tignes and Val d'isere Ski Area - 01/04/2019
Overall

A vast area to ski, you have Tignes and Val d'isere. Plenty of runs for all and great snow. The accommodation was very small & basic luckily there were only two of us, four in the apartment we had would have been very uncomfortable. Watch the prices for drinks best to check on the happy hours as you can get charged stupid money for a pint.

One of the best resorts in the world - 15/03/2019
Overall

I've stayed in Le Lac, Val Claret and lavachet and they are all fantastic. There are great bars and access to skiing. All the villages tend to be a little less portentous than Val D. Glacier can get busy at times but worth it on good powder days. One of the best runs in the world (when empty) is double M under the Lanches chair off the glacier.

The best ski resort for snowboarders - 13/03/2019
Overall

Tignes is easily my favourite ski resort. It’s not the prettiest but the quality of the ski area, après, restaurants, accommodation and nightlife, it cannot be beaten! As a snowboarder, the ski area is perfect. There are minimal flats, a huge selection of blues and red runs, amazing snow conditions and a huge variety of terrain. For the best après on the mountain it’s got to be Folie Douce, then once you are back in town head to the Loop Bar in Le Lac or the new Coco Rico’s in Val Claret.

Great trip, staff were really helpful and helped us organise off piste skiing and a paraglide trip and trip to the La Follie Douche
