Experience the enduring charm of Chalet Motxo, a favourite among guests returning to El Tarter year after year. This traditional mountain chalet, crafted from local stone and timber, exudes a warm, homely appeal. Its inviting lounge, complete with a grandfather clock and comfortable leather sofas, offers a cosy space to unwind after a day on the slopes.
The chalet boasts a spacious interior, bathed in natural light, with high ceilings and substantial wooden beams. Each generously sized bedroom provides ample storage and an en-suite bathroom. Throughout the Motxo, you'll discover delightful touches like intricate mountain flower murals and classic cast-iron radiators, adding to its distinctive continental character. Select rooms also feature balconies, offering expansive views across the Grandvalira slopes and the picturesque El Tarter valley.
Don’t forget that you get free guiding and coaching throughout the week from fully qualified ski and board instructors.
Designed for confident blue and red-run skiers and snowboarders, they'll show you around the mountain on free guiding sessions, and even offer free coaching sessions to help you become a more confident skier or snowboarder.There are at least three sessions a week and we guarantee each guest at least two sessions a week. Your hosts will explain how it works when you get there.Must be over 18 (or 12 in school holidays, under 18's must be accompanied by a parent or guardian).

Chalet Room Options
The chalet sleeps up to 24 people in 11 large, light and simply furnished rooms. Most rooms are twins but there are two triples and each has its own ensuite with a shower and wc. You'll also find luxurious Temple Spa toiletries in each bathroom.
Chalet Catering
Our chalet board basis is designed for skiers and boarders. Breakfast is a fairly extensive affair with cooked and continental options every day. Your daily afternoon tea of freshly baked cakes and biscuits will be waiting for you when you come in from the slopes.
Evening meals are a three-course set-menu with regionally inspired dishes and served with complimentary wine, all followed by fresh coffee. We provide evening meals on six nights a week to leave you free to head out and explore the resort on one evening.

The price shown includes 7 nights accommodation, with flights from London Gatwick Airport.
Prices shown are per person, per duration indicated, based on maximum occupancy.
