Hotel Grüner Baum
Modernised in 2015, the Hotel Grüner Baum is located centrally in Ehrwald, and the ski bus stops opposite the hotel. A practise lift can be reached within approx. 600 m, the Wettersteinbahn lift is approx. 500 m away and the Almbahn lift in Ehrwald can be reached in approx. 2.2 km. A winter hiking trail as well as access to the cross-country ski area are approx. 150 m away. The comfortable hotel's facilities include a reception with welcome area, Wi-Fi, lift, terrace, bar, common room, breakfast room, restaurant, à la carte restaurant as well as a ski room with ski boots drier. Free-of-charge parking spaces can be used based on availability. The approx. 350 m² spa area (14:30 - 19:30) offers a Finnish panoramic sauna, organic sauna, aromatic steam bath, spa shower, lounge area with tea, water and vitamin bar, Kneipp basin and two relaxation rooms with water beds and crackling fireplace and can be used for free. For a locally payable fee, you can also make use of massages. Additionally, you will receive the guest card Tiroler Zugspitz Arena with services and discounts, such as e.g. discount on the entrace fee to the family indoor pool Ehrwald, free use of the winter bus in Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena, free guided torch hikes, use of the Zugspitz Arena cross-country trails as well as discounts with various facilities (e.g. ice rink in Ehrwald, Burgenwelt Ehrenberg), etc. (further information in resort, services subject to change). Rooms The cosily furnished rooms offer a shower/wc, flat-screen TV with built-in radio, telephone, Wi-Fi, hair dryer, cosmetic mirror, as well as a safe. Board The half board included in the holiday price comprises a breakfast buffet as well as a 4-course evening meal incl. soup-, starter- and salad buffet. The Christmas- and New Year's Eve dinners are also included for you. Please note that the kitchen is closed on Thursdays, which means that there will be no dinner served on this day within the conditions of the half board (Exceptions: 21/02, 28/02, 07/03, and 14/03/2019).
