Skiing in Heiligenblut
The resort is best suited to intermediates and freeriders but has varied slopes for beginners and advanced skiers too. Its slopes are quiet and consists of mainly blue and red slopes across its two areas that descend from Schareck mountain at 2604m.
Beginners will want to stay in the resort village as this is where the nursery slopes are situated.
Freeriders will be in their element here as Heiligenblut offers extensive freeriding terrain and thanks to its altitude, offers excellent powder snow conditions that are uncrowded and often untouched. What’s more is this terrain is served within the lift served area so there’s no trekking to access the best bits. We recommended hiring touring equipment and a guide if you are looking to do freeriding.
Heiligenblut also has 10km of cross country ski trails and a snowpark for freestylers.
