Hochrindl Ski Resort
The ski resort prides itself in its untouched nature neautyand fresh mountain air for relaxation and wellness. The resorts ski school is open throughout the winter season so from 2 ½ years up skiers can learn from the best with multi lingual ski instructors. There is also a snowboarding carving course suitable for all levels with ski rental and ski servicing facilities.
Snow conditions in Hochrindl
100% of the pistes are covered with snow making facilities. There are 30 snow cannons blasting out artificial snow adding to the natural snowfall for more guaranteed skiing throughout the season.
Skiing in Hochrindl
The ski resort has 20.6 km of groomed pistes to suit beginners and intermediates. Snowboarders and freeskiers can enjoy the snow park with kickers and rails catered for all ages and abilities. For skiers who just don’t want the ski day to end you’ll be pleased to know that from 6pm onwards every Wednesday and Saturday the pistes come alive with flood lights brightening up the snowy runs for skiers to continue to carve late into the night.
Apres ski, restaurants and other activities in Hochrindl
Skiers can relax after a long morning carving the wide open pistes in one of the mountains ski huts. Surrounded by snowy peaks and picturesque panoramic views across the Carinthian mountain range, skiers can relax whilst taking in the beautiful landscape. Or for more of a romantic winter feeling, you can enjoy some mulled wine n front of an open fire in one of the bars and restaurants in the village.
Tourists can also enjoy tobogganing, snowshoeing, sledging, cross-country skiing, winter hiking, ski tours and much more. Spa and pampering sessions can be enjoyed pre-season and from February onwards.
Transfer time in Hochrindl
There are various airports that surround Hochrindl/Sirnitz ski area the closest being Klagenfurt (KLU) which is around a 45 minutes bus transfer from resort. Others nearby airports include Ljubljana (LJU), Graz (GRZ), Salzburg (SZG) and Trieste (TRS) which are within a 2 and half hours bus journey.
