Bon Alpina Hotel, Igls
The 3* Hotel Bon Alpina is located in the centre of Igls, a small Austrian village just a short 20 minute transfer from Innsbruck Airport. It is situated 300m from the Patscherkofelbahn ski lift and should you not choose to walk the few minutes to the lift, a ski bus conveniently stops outside the hotel and passes by on a regular basis.
The Bon Alpina blends typical Tyrolean character of dark woods and richly coloured fabrics to more contemporary lightly coloured bedrooms and bathrooms.
Igls does offer a small number of restaurants if you prefer the flexibility of dining out in the evenings, and it's worth noting that you're only a 15-minutes public bus ride away from Innsbruck, which of course has a huge selection of places to eat, not to mention shops and bars.
When you're not out skiing or perhaps experiencing a ride down the Olympic bobsleigh run nearby, the hotel has a good spa and wellness area. You'll discover an indoor (and partially outdoor) heated swimming pool, sauna, steam bath, solarium and ayurveda centre. There's also a fitness room available.

Most of the bedrooms feature a traditional Austrian twin bed (not two separate single beds), and a range of facilities such as ensuite shower or bath with WC, telephone, TV with satellite channels, radio, safe and hairdryer.
