Nestled in the relaxed village of Kirchberg, the Hotel Sonnalp offers an ideal base to explore the vast Kitzbühel ski area. A brief stroll takes you to the complimentary ski bus, whisking you to the slopes in around ten minutes. This service conveniently drops you right by the ski school meeting point, perfect for those honing their skills.
The hotel, a classic Austrian chalet with timber accents and a snow-dusted roof, blends seamlessly with the pine-clad landscape. Inside, comfort reigns with an alpine feel. Rooms are finished in soft neutrals, light wood, and rich burgundy.
After a day on the pistes, unwind in the indoor pool or the wellness area, which features saunas, a steam bath, and an infrared cabin. Massages and treatments are also available for an extra touch of indulgence.
Mornings begin with a generous buffet breakfast, including Continental favourites and hot options like bacon and eggs. Evenings offer a four-course buffet dinner, complete with a salad bar and weekly Tyrolean specialities. For a relaxing drink, the rustic hotel bar serves cocktails, aperitifs, and a good selection of wines.
