Sporthotel Marco Polo Alpina
The comfortable Sporthotel Marco Polo Alpina, embedded in the breathtaking mountain landscape of the Hochkönig region, is located in lovely Hinterthal, a district of Maria Alm, approx. 5 km from the centre. The accommodation is located directly on the piste and near a practice lift, meaning that it is possible to ski to the accommodation with appropriate snow conditions. The mountain lift to the Ski amadé ski region is approx. 200 m away. The ski bus stops approx. 100 m away from the hotel. Access to a cross-country trail can be found directly behind the hotel. The family-friendly hotel comprises a main building and a side building and offers an entrance area with reception and safe, lift, Wi-Fi, restaurant, parlour, breakfast room, hotel bar, lounge, a lockable ski room, a children's playroom as well as a terrace. Free parking spaces (upon availability) and a parking garage (for a fee) are also present. The spa area (14:00 - 21:00) with indoor pool, Finnish sauna, steam room, infrared cabin and relaxation room as well as the fitness room are all available to be used for free. The solarium, massages and beauty treatments can be enjoyed for a locally payable fee. From 21/12/2019 - 17.04.2020, childcare service is offered from 16:00 - 20:00 (subject to change, as per info in resort, 4 - 14 years). Guests can also take part in the weekly programme (as per information in hotel). In resort you will also receive the guest card Hochkönig Card, with which you will receive numerous discounts in the region (e.g night skiing, guided hiking tours, horse-drawn carriage rides and much more, services subject to change, as per information in resort). Rooms The friendly furnished studios offer a living/sleeping area, shower/wc, flat-screen TV with built-in radio, telephone, safe, hair dryer, Wi-Fi as well a kitchenette with refrigerator, coffee machine, kettle and microwave, as well as a balcony or terrace. The apartments also have a separate bedroom. Allocation can take place in the main building or side building. Board The all inclusive board consists of a rich breakfast buffet with muesli, fresh fruits, eggs, etc. in the morning, coffee and cake in the afternoon, and a 4-course buffet with salad buffet in the evening. Furthermore, from 12:00 - 21:00, you can also enjoy beverages from the beverage menu such as non-alcoholic beverages, bottled wines, beer, prosecco, whisky and schnapps (beverages can only be consumed in the restaurant and bar area, and in the bistro between 12:00 - 18:00). Several times per week, various themed buffets are prepared. Vegetarian meals can be served per request. The Christmas and New Year's Eve buffets are also included.
