Chalet Gertrude Gabl, St Anton, Austria
Please note: This chalet can only be booked for a group taking sole occupancy (unless within 6 weeks of departure date). Children under 15 are not allowed in this chalet on any date, unless part of a group booking the whole chalet.
The Chalet Gertude Gabl is a fantastic new edition to the Mountain Collection and has a pretty illustrious history as it was built by the family of Gertrud Gabl, a legendary local skier who won the Alpine World Cup in 1969!
It's a very warm and welcoming place to stay. The finish is traditionally alpine with a modern edge (as you may expect) with chunky furniture and lots of comforting soft furnishings.
There are eight comfortable bedrooms, all with comfy Austrian twin beds and ensuite facilities. Being in the quiet Stadl area of the resort, away from St Anton's lively centre not only provides a restful night's sleep, but also some far-reaching views over Rendl mountain from every room.
It's a ten to fifteen minute walk down the hill to the nearest lift and resort centre, or you can take the ski bus which runs regularly from a stop about a one-minute walk away.
