The resort itself was designed for skiers, so most of the accommodation is just metres from the lifts, and the wooden buildings help give the place a proper mountain vibe. Après is focused around hotel bars, so settle in for quiet drinks, followed by dinners packed with local flavour – imagine a tasty mash-up of alpine and Turkish cooking.

Après ski and restaurants in Jahorina
With lunch spots up the mountain and in the resort centre, you'll have somewhere handy to eat. the food itself, expect plenty of Balkan fare, from barbequed meat to mountain stews and Turkish baklava. The mountaintop Olympic Bar
is ideal for a quick coffee or a full mountain meal. With floor-to-ceiling windows the view is definately a USP. Rajska Vrata offerrustic décor and a wood fire, everything a mountain hut should be. If you're looking for platefuls of grilled meat, chunky soups and oven-fresh bread you're in the right place. Café Peggy occupies a slopeside spot with a large outdoor terrace for those sunny days. On a cold, snowy day head inside and warm up by the open fire while you tuck into plates of cevapi (a kind of Balkan-style kebab).
Jahorina is quiet in the evening, with most people heading to hotel bars for post-ski drinks. There are a handful of après spots dotted around if you fancy venturing further afield though. Wherever you go, a round will be easy on the wallet – the drinks prices here are some of the lowest in Europe. Once the afternoon rolls around, why not head to the Olympic Bar - the focus here moves from food to après fun. Find a spot out on the terrace and cap off the ski day sipping a drink with a mountain backdrop. If music is your thing then be sure to check out the Koliba Bar near the Termag Hotel, which usually hosts live bands 3 or 4 times a week. Finally, Kinder Jaje Jahorina, a café/pub is perfect if you’re looking for a quiet venue in a quiet piste-side location.
We also recommend customers bring some cash with them to Bosnia as places such as supermarkets, restaurants & bars may only take cash. A lot of the them do accept euros as well as local currency
