Activities in Luosto
Amongst skiing and its 150km cross-country track, non-skiing activities include fatbiking, snowshoeing, reindeer sleigh rides, reindeer safaris, husky sled rides, snowmobiling and a Santa hunt and meet and greet. Its two main attractions are the Pyhä-Luosto National Park and its amethyst mine located in the hill of Lampivaara where you can learn about the mineral and go hunting for some yourself.
