Hotel Tunturi (Santa's Lapland) - Saariselka, Finland
This unique hotel is located amidst snowy forest surroundings. It boasts a captivating atmosphere with welcoming public areas adorned with wood panels, delectable cuisine and cosy rooms for a comfortable stay.
The main Tunturi building is home to the reception and three restaurants with all bedrooms and apartments in separate buildings close by. This includes the superior Gielas building which houses its own bar and restaurant for breakfast and the newly renovated Kontio, just opposite the main Tunturi buiding.
The accommodation is close by to a charming forest area near the cross-country ski trails, an easy 2-3 minutes from the main Tunturi building. This is where your buffet breakfast and dinner will be served, including your Festive Dinner on your final evening. Listen out for live music in the evenings too.
You’ll find both budget friendly family bedrooms in the hotel and modern, luxury rooms in the Gielas wing and the renovated Kontio building, all with a private bathroom, sauna and balcony.
The hotel is centrally located with ample opportunities for tobogganing nearby.
The Santa’s Holiday Club leisure centre is also just 5 minutes away (500m), which features a family friendly pool and slides, accessible for a small fee paid locally. It costs €2 to use their toboggans to get out on the snow for some slippery slidey fun.

The Santa Experience - Santa’s Magic
Get the full Lapland experience with Santa and his elves. Revel in a Sleigh Barn show, a Festive Dinner, and see the elves perform in a magical igloo. Jump on a snowmobile sleigh and follow the glow trail to search for Santa.
What’s included?
