Northern Lights Village
Imagine nestling into bed beneath a heated glass-roof as the Arctic wilderness settles into a deep, velvety blue outside. Tucked away from the glow of Saariselkä, this secluded village offers a front-row seat to the heavens where minimal light pollution makes the Aurora Borealis feel close enough to touch. These spacious suites and cabins are a haven for families or small groups of up to five, balancing cozy relaxation with genuine Finnish tradition.
While you might be tempted to stay awake, a clever aurora alert system acts as your personal night watchman, so you never miss the shimmering green ribbons overhead. Beyond your cabin, the snow-sure landscape of Northern Finland invites exploration, from husky sledding through frozen forests to snowshoeing across the fells.

Aurora Suites

- The suites have a comfortable double bed, a double sofa bed and a single armchair bed
- Each of the Aurora Suites have a private sauna and a laser-heated glass roof, so you'll have unobstructed views of the Northern sky
Aurora Cabins
- 29m²
- Sleep up to four people
- Double or twin beds and a double sofa bed
- The cabins each have a laser-heated glass roof so you can look up into the dark Northern sky above

Please note that all rooms are detached and can be up to 200 metres from the reception building.
Village Catering
Each morning you can enjoy a varied breakfast with a selection of sweet and savoury options, often including pastries, breads, fresh fruit, bacon, eggs, waffles, cheeses and meats.
When it comes to dinner you can enjoy a tasty three course buffet dinner with a selection of local and international dishes.
The Northern Lights Village can cater for special dietary requirements (vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and dairy free) on request, all special dietary meals will come from the labelled buffet. Please inform us of any special dietary requirements at the time of booking. Allergies and intolerances not listed above cannot be catered for. All allergies and intolerances, even if listed above, are subject to confirmation by the accommodation.
