Salla ski resort
The charming magic of Lapland is one of the main reasons why the resort is one of the best places to ski in northern Europe. As well as being the ideal destination to start skiing, there are plenty of other exciting activities to try, ranging from toboggan races to slaloming.
There is the extraordinary Northern Lights visible on an evening and snowmobile, reindeer and husky safaris available to give visitors a fantastic insight into the wilderness.

The season here runs from December to February and skiers can expect excellent snow coverage during their stay. Snow-making is also available on all slopes, ensuring great conditions.
Skiing in Salla
There is a total of 15 slopes across the resort and the longest run is 1300m, while the vertical rise is 230m and there is a snow park with great facilities for snowboarders and freestylers.
Views from the top of the park give skiers and snowboarders a fantastic vantage point for gazing out into the amazing scenery, whereas the speed check points across the eastern slope gives skiers the option to check their speed and work on their times.
