Nestled in the heart of Alpe d'Huez, Chalet la Breche enjoys an enviable slopeside position, offering true ski-in/ski-out convenience. This spacious, traditional-style chalet is perfect for larger groups, providing an ideal base for maximizing your time on the mountain. With direct access to a piste leading down to the Telecentre lift and the DMC chairlift, getting to the ski school meeting point and exploring Alpe d'Huez’s vast terrain is effortless.
Inside, the chalet presents a contemporary feel within a Scandinavian-inspired design. Thoughtfully designed with modern touches, such as wooden bathtubs, new showers, double basins, and heated towel rails in the en-suite bathrooms, comfort is prioritized. The chalet spans four floors with eight comfortable bedrooms, each featuring a balcony. An open-plan lounge and dining area with a large fireplace serves as a social hub, while a lower ground floor après-ski room houses two infrared saunas and an outdoor hot tub. A TV room offers additional space to unwind, and the resort centre, with its bars and restaurants, is right on the doorstep.
Our menu is changing for the better. In all of our chalets we're giving you more choice, with both meat-free and meat options on offer throughout your stay. This is driven as part of our commitment to reduce our carbon footprint.

Chalet La Breche Reviews
We stayed at La Breche over new year, and had a great stay. The chalet staff were lovely, and the food was top restaurant standard every night. Location perfect for ski in-ski out(just above yoghurt pot and tourism office) easy stroll into the town and bars. Skiing excellent. So far so good......as with most alpine chalets the soundproofing is non existent, and we had a very noisy young family below us, who woke early and the children whinged(loudly) from the moment they got up. However the chalet atmosphere was fabulous, and we had a superb stay, and met some new friends. Location couldn't be better, and your fellow chalet dwellers is always a lottery. Highly recommended.

Great chalet, all ensuite rooms, very comfortable. Food prepared by Martina & Simon was excellent and couldn't be faulted in any way. We were 16 friends sharing, so it was like being at a dinner party every night, with canapes, 3 course meal and reasonable wine. One downside is the disco up the road with blaring boom, boom all night if you like to sleep with the windows open. Good piste side location if there is enough snow to ski in/out - we were lucky!
