Ideally located on the ski slopes of the Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine, the Chalet Sophie provides you with the perfect ski-in, ski-out accommodation. The chalet is exclusively located in The Altiport, a tranquil settlement, a little higher up the mountain (approximately 500m) from the bustling centre of the Alpe d'Huez, where numerous bars, restaurants and boutiques can be found, as well as a swimming pool, leisure centre, ice rink and cinema.
The Chalet Sophie is a short walk from Les Bergers area of Alpe d'Huez, where our ski hire shop is conveniently located and a free shuttle bus runs frequently to the resort centre.
Ski direct from your front door on the gentle green slopes bordering the resort, which are ideal for beginners. More experienced skiers can venture straight out to the lifts at Les Bergers, giving you direct access to the exceptional Alpe d'Huez ski area

Chalet Sophie has five spacious bedrooms spread across three floors, sleeping up to 12 guests. On the ground floor there are two twin bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom and easy access to the sauna. There is a double bedroom with bathroom on the first floor, just next to the kitchen and open plan living space. The final two bedrooms are on the second floor, one of which has four single beds and a bathroom, the other which has two twin beds. The two bedrooms on the second floor share a balcony.
