Hotel Les Cimes du Soleil, Avoriaz, France
The contemporary rooms in Les Cimes du Soleil are simply decorated and a warm welcome after a day out in the snow, where you can lay out on the beds and rest your legs before dinner. Or choose to explore Avoriaz for the afternoon and take the short 5 minute stroll into the resort centre. You can safely leave the kids with the hotel’s childcare and they’ll be entertained all afternoon.
Head out onto the hotel’s sun terrace and you’ll be greeted by views of the snowy Alps. Or if you fancy staying inside, the hotel’s bar has plenty of room so your group can spread out and discuss the day’s slope-filled adventures over a round of drinks.
Start your day right at the giant buffet breakfast, where you can serve yourself a feast of sweet and savoury, hot and cold food – from your favourite croissant to a filling plate of eggs and bacon. And on half board you’ll have dinner with wine too, so you can tuck into a buffet of delicious hot food made with fresh, local ingredients – the perfect reward after a hard day on the mountain.
