Lykke hotel, meaning ‘happiness’ in Danish, offers a true alpine escape, with its blend of Scandinavian charm and modern twists. Just minutes from the resort centre, there are heaps of shops, bars and restaurants to explore, and don’t miss the famous après ski scene. The hotel is a 3 minutes' walk from the train station and 10 minutes' walk from the ski bus stop, so you’re never too far from the piste action.
After a day carving up the slopes, unwind in the indoor pool and spa – think sauna, hot tub, massages. Or why not grab a post-ski drink, or two, at the Fisk bar for happy hour. And let’s not forget the food. Start your day with a hearty buffet breakfast of eggs, pancakes and fruit. In the evenings, tuck into a delicious 3-course meal of both local flavours and Nordic twists at Kaffe & Kro.
The rooms are chic and cosy – the perfect setting to come back to after a busy day. They each have a balcony looking out onto the mountains, and you might even catch a glimpse of Mont Blanc.
