"Perfectly adequate - could improve"

This hotel is perfectly positioned for easy access to slopes and equipment hire. It is a very gentle slope down to the main lifts. The room was clean, warm and the bed comfortable. (Linked twin). Smallish, but had a desk and small sofa/bed. Tea and coffee making facilities. TV in room. Enough storage space. Lovely views from our balcony. Room was quiet. There is a wellness area, but we had full on sun all week so I never used it. Breakfast was fine with plenty of tables. Got busier from 08.00. Usual sort of spread. Dinner was ok. Salad bar was good and puds were delicious. Main courses could perhaps be improved. They did not always look so appetising. The bar is sociable and very pleasant. WiFi was not good in the room, but perfectly ok in the large reception area. It would have been better had the boot warmers been working in the rather cramped locker room. Tricky to navigate at busy times as no space to boot up by the lockers - had to take your gear out to a sitting area which again is small for busy times. I think this hotel could be great for groups of friends (seems to be lots of all male groups staying here). I would stay again due to its position , I think it is probably good value overall.
