Hotel L'ours Blanc, Morzine, France

Just got back from a late skiing holiday in Morzine and stayed at the Hotel l'ours Blanc. We were very lucky with the snow so late in the season and it meant we could still ski back to the town in the evening from Morzine ski area. You can take the cable car up one way to Avoriaz and over to Chalet and Champery, which means the ski area is huge. The Hotel is a really friendly family run hotel with great evening meals and a fresh breakfast. The rooms are a little on the tired side but it was end of season and they were going to close to do some work on them. The hotel is a nice 10 minute walk from the cable car to Avoriaz and about 15 mins walk to the cable car up to Morzine and les Gets. My only criticism about Morzine is that there is not a great deal of life at the bottom of the slopes after skiing but as we were a family with 2 teenagers, that was fine.
