Hotel Mont Thabor
The Hotel Mont Thabor is situated in the peaceful hamlet of Villeneuve, one of the key villages in the vast Serre Chevalier Vallée, offering a warm and genuinely homely feel. The interior promotes a cheerful atmosphere, with bright yellow walls and expansive windows designed to flood the space with natural light, complementing the region's renowned high count of sunny mountain days.
The location is ideal for exploring one of Europe’s largest ski domains, famed for its extensive tree-lined runs. Direct access to the mountain is excellent, with the Aravet lift just a short walk from the door. Should you wish to venture further afield across the valley, a ski bus stop is positioned immediately outside the hotel.
After a full day on the slopes, guests can look forward to treating themselves to some essential downtime in the wellness area, which features both a sauna and a hammam to recharge muscles before the evening. The relaxed bar is an inviting spot for a pre-dinner drink. This bright and breezy style extends to the rooms, complete with colourful accents and cosy touches like soft throws and pillows. Large windows let in plenty of light and frame the stunning alpine views. Each day begins with a generous buffet breakfast downstairs, providing ideal fuel before clipping into your skis.
