"Chalet Aiglon is the perfect base for a family or group ski holiday in Tignes. Sleeping 8 people in total with more than enough communal space in the evenings if you wish to stay in and enjoy the cosy chalet atmosphere. Even though it is a 5-7 minute walk (or 2 minute bus ride) to the ski lifts, don’t let this put you off, the location of this chalet is brilliant with spectacular views and just a few minutes’ walk from the sports centre, swimming pool, shops, bars, bowling and Jack’s nightclub. You won’t be disappointed with Tignes and this incredible ski area."

This delightful high quality chalet is a recent addition to our Tignes programme, with the Chamois on the first floor, and the Aiglon on the second floor and in-house childcare within the building. The chalet had a series of enhancements for 2017 including new kitchen units and new imagery around the chalet. The attractive open-plan living/dining area in the chalet is comfortably furnished in a chic, contemporary style with big picture windows and a sun-terrace opening off them, to make the most of the views across to the lake to Val Claret and the wonderful mountain skyline beyond.
An added and welcome bonus is the sauna, complete with adjacent shower, and ideal for après-ski wind-down, before a convivial evenings chalet dining, and relaxing in the lounge to enjoy the views of the floodlit mountains across the lake. Access to the resort centre and the skiing is equally convenient, with a choice of the main Toviere gondola and Palafour chairlift all within 7 minutes’ (in ski boots) walk, alternatively there is a bus stop 30m from the chalet that goes to the ski lifts and shops. Approximate transfer time to resort: Chambéry 2 hours, Geneva 3 and a half hours.

Breakfast
Start the day with a cooked breakfast including your choice of bacon, eggs, sausages and beans, as well as a continental selection with a choice of cereals or porridge, fruit juices, plentiful tea, coffee and bread (and croissants in France), cold meats, cheese and preserves, which is normally presented buffet-style for you to help yourself.
Afternoon Tea
A delicious homemade cake accompanied by hot drinks will be laid out for you every day except on the staff’s one day off per week.
Dinner
Our three-course dinner menus start with an glass of Prosecco followed by an appetiser, main course and dessert, accompanied by a choice of complimentary wines, with coffee or tea to follow.
Vegetarian options are available if advised in advance. Other special dietary requirements must also be advised to us at the time of booking in order for your chalet hosts to be fully prepared and incur a charge of £35 per person per week to cover the cost of additional ingredients. Failing to book special dietary requirements in advance can incur additional supplements in resort.
On your Host’s day off, they will leave a simpler continental breakfast out for you to help yourselves, there is no afternoon tea on these days, and you can dine out locally in the evening. Your Resort Representative will gladly help out with information and make a reservation for you if you wish.
Children's High Tea
We serve a separate High Tea at 5:30pm for children aged 10 years and under with an appropriate menu and pureed food is available for infants on request. Parents must accompany their children at high tea. Unless children are part of an ‘exclusive use’ whole-chalet booking in chalets, it is not possible for children aged 10 years and under to eat at the adult sitting. When part of a 'exclusive use' whole-chalet booking children may eat with the adults for a supplement of £39 per child if they have received child discounts.
