La Daille Apartments, Val d'Isere, France

Stayed for a week at the beginning of February. Val d'isere itself is great - brilliant snow, good lifts with little queuing. Apartments inside are very well furnished, spotlessly clean and good value. They are noisy however - was often woken at 2 or 3 am by drunken groups coming back home after partying hard! La Daille itself is convenient - good lift access and easy to ski right back to La Daille at the end of the day. There are shops and restaurants here too. The bus to Val di'sere (free) is good during the day but during outside of peak hours it can be quite a wait (I walked back to La Daille a few times at night as couldn't face standing at the bus stop for 25 minutes at -10) If you're looking for good value and plan to party, then I'd recommend. If you have a family and want a good nights sleep, I'd think twice
