L’Ecrin de Vars, located at the foot of the mountains, is the perfect spot for those looking to hit the slopes and relax in style. These sleek apartments are ski-in, ski-out, directly onto the Mélèzes blue run, and have great access to the large number of slopes in the Hautes Alpes area. Whether you’re a seasoned skier or it’s your first time on skis, there’s something for everyone.
The apartments are cosy yet modern with great views of the surrounding mountains. They each come with a fully equipped kitchen, where you can whip up a hearty meal and refuel for the next day. As well as a private balcony to enjoy a morning coffee or cheeky apéritif.
The centre of Vars, just a 10-minute walk, is where you’ll find several shops, restaurants and supermarkets, as well as the ski bus stop and nursery slopes.
Check-in is from 5pm, and check-out is by 10am.
All apartments are non-smoking and have a kitchenette with hob, microwave, fridge, kettle, and dishwasher, as well as a flatscreen TV and free WiFi. Towels, linen, end-of-stay cleaning (except kitchenette) and cleaning kits are included. All beds (except sofa beds) will be made on arrival.
When you arrive, you’ll need to pay a deposit of approx. €500 by credit or debit card for each apartment on your booking.
1 bedroom apartment with balcony (approx. 31m²)- sleeps 1-4: Double bedroom, lounge with double sofa bed, private shower or bath, WC and a balcony.
1 bedroom apartment with balcony (approx. 44m²) - sleep 1-6: Double bedroom, living area with double sofa bed, alcove with bunk beds, lounge, bathroom with private shower or bath, separate WC and balcony.
2 bedroom apartment with balcony (approx. 61m²) - sleep 1-8: Twin bedroom, double bedroom, cabin room with bunk beds, lounge, two bathrooms with shower or bath, WC and a balcony.
Interconnecting rooms are available.
Baby equipment (including cot, high chair and baby bath) is available to hire for approx. €35 per stay (pre-booking required).
