A traditional hotel ideal for groups, the Hotel Panda lies in a handy location, just a five-minute walk from Cortina's main, pedestrianised Corso Italia and about 10 minutes' on foot from the Faloria ski lifts. The old-world chalet exterior gives way to equally homespun rooms, which mix wood sourced from Spanish cognac casks and the rustic mountain style of the Dolomites. Facilities include a cosy breakfast room serving hot and cold dishes in the mornings to get your skiing off to a flying start, plus warming tea and cakes on your return. Other attractions include stunning views over the nearby Tofano and and Faloria peaks and the fact that regular ski buses to the whole Valle del Boite ski area stop right outside the hotel.
